Three people died after car crash in Lisle, Illinois

Three people died following a two-vehicle crash in Lisle, Illinois on early Saturday morning.

Police said officers responded to a two-vehicle crash that took place at the intersection of Warrenville Road and Navistar Drive at approximately 1:18 a.m. when they discovered one vehicle badly damaged with a driver inside who was injured.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

The second vehicle which was engulfed in the crash had three occupants.

A passenger of the second vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.

A woman in her 20s was admitted to Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove where she succumbed to her injuries.

The driver of the second vehicle was admitted to Good Samaritan Hospital and is in stable condition.

The crash is being investigated.
