Two dead after car crash in Wheeler County

Two people were killed following a fiery car crash in Wheeler County, Georgia.

The officials are yet to identify the victims.

The crash took place around noon on Friday, at Georgia Highway 31 where 2 vehicles were involved.

A red Pontiac crossed the center line and struck a Volvo, which led to both vehicles igniting. The two people inside of the Pontiac were pronounced dead.

Georgia State Patrol is investigating the crash.
