Two dead after head-on car crash on State Route 105, Washington

Two people from Grays Harbor County died following a two-car head-on crash on State Route 105 at O’Leary Creek about 5 miles south of Aberdeen, Washington.

A Washington State Patrol report said Rolman L. Martinez Juarez, 29, of Aberdeen, and Robyn S. Sweet-Smith, 45, of Westport, were pronounced dead at the scene.

The report noted that Martinez was northbound in a 2009 Nissan Altima and crossed the centerline near milepost 40, hitting the 2009 Honda Civic driven by Sweet-Smith head-on right before 4:40 p.m.

The roadway was entirely closed with no detours for more than four hours due to the investigation of the accident.
