Two dead after single-car crash in Warner Robins

Two people were killed after a single-car accident on Watson Boulevard in Warner Robins on Tuesday morning.

The crash resulted in a shut down between the road between Nelson Drive and Peacock Drive.

Chief John Wagner says it was a “serious” wreck, and that the car engulfed. After the fire was put out, it was found that two people were dead inside. 

An initial investigation shows that the car was speeding when it went off the road and struck a concrete pole.

The identity of the two people was not released.

As of 8 a.m., all lanes are open.
