Two dead after single-vehicle crash in St. Petersburg, Florida

Two children died after a single-vehicle crash near the intersection of Tyrone Square Boulevard and Norfolk street in St. Petersburg, Florida.

St. Petersburg Police Department was notified before 1 p.m., about the crash involving a Nissan Rogue that struck a tree.

The occupants of the vehicle include two adults, two juveniles, and two toddlers.

Two of the children were pronounced dead after the crash.

No one was using seatbelts.

Tyrone Boulevard was closed from 9th Ave. N. to 22nd Ave. N. Cops urged drivers to look for alternate routes.
