Two men are dead and another man was critically injured following a car crash in La Vernia, Texas.
The crash took place on Saturday afternoon on US Highway 87 West and County Road 361 when a Ford F-150 truck was heading southbound and attempted to pass another vehicle. However, the driver of the truck lost control and struck an oncoming Ford pickup truck.
Both of the trucks were engulfed due to the impact and both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene.
The drivers have been identified by the Texas Department of Public Safety as Jordan Williamson, of Cibolo, and Kenneth Boyd, of Richardson.
Another man inside of the Ford of Boyd was admitted to the Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio in critical condition.
Investigation is yet to conclude the factor behind the crash.
