Two people were killed after a car crash on the Riverside (91) Freeway at Wilmington Boulevard in California.

Officials were notified about the crash at 12:37 a.m. on Saturday.

When the officials attended the scene, the first responders found a vehicle wrapped around a pole.

Two occupants were pronounced dead at the scene.

Officials say that the parties were driving in a group of street racers on the eastbound freeway when a Honda hit the left side of a Toyota 4 Runner, after which the Toyota struck a pole.

The Toyota’s driver and his passenger were killed.

But the Honda fled the scene.

California Highway Patrol has urged people to contact CHP’s South Los Angeles area office at 424-551-4000 with the information about the crash.
