Two killed after car crash in Anderson County, TN

Two people died after a vehicle crash on Norris Freeway in Anderson County, Tennessee on Wednesday afternoon.

The crash took place at the intersection of Norris Freeway and Hinds Creek Road when a Dodge Ram was going north on U.S. Highway 441/Norris Freeway after a Sonic Chevrolet turned onto Norris Freeway.

Officials say the Chevrolet failed to yield and was hit by the Dodge, after which the Chevrolet spun into the road before coming to a stop in the roadway.

The Dodge went off the road into the ditch.

The two passengers of the Chevrolet, identified as Cynthia and Larry Earley died due to the crash.

The intersection was closed as Anderson County Sheriff’s Office and Tennessee Highway Patrol investigated the crash.
