Two killed after head-on car crash in Fresno County

Two people were killed after a head-on car crash in Fresno County, California on Friday.

The crash took place shortly before 6:00 p.m. in the area of Belmont and Zediker avenues.

It involved two vehicles, a white sedan and a silver sedan, which crashed head-on when the white vehicle went onto the opposite side of the road to pass traffic. It then went on to crash with the silver vehicle.

One person in each of the vehicle died in the crash.

Their identifies were not released as of yet.

California Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.

They said a 41-year-old man from Kingsburg was driving the white sedan and a 42-year-old man from Fresno was driving the silver sedan.
