Two people were killed after a head-on car crash that took place in Marrero, Louisiana on Sunday night.
The two-vehicle crash took place on LA 2134 near Cascade Drive.
Victims have been identified as Jose Hurst, 32, of Gretna and Overland Tart, 29, of Harvey.
Hurst was driving a 2006 GMC Envoy the wrong way when Tart was driving a 2014 Dodge Charger. As both cars approached the area of the Cascade Drive intersection, the Envoy crashed head-on with the Charger.
Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash is currently being investigated by Louisiana State Police.
