Two killed after two-vehicle crash in Allegany County

Two people were killed after a two-vehicle crash in the Allegany County town of Centerville, New York on Friday.

The crash took place around 8:24 a.m. at the intersection of County Route 36 and Dow Road when the pickup truck was traveling southbound on Dow Road and failed to stop at the stop sign. The pickup was hit after entering the path of a tractor-trailer traveling north on County Route 36.

The driver and the passenger of the pickup were pronounced dead at the scene.

Both were not using seatbelts.

The victims have been identified as Michael D. Frazier, 71, of Fillmore and Leonard R. Frazier, 76, of Bliss.

New York State Police is investigating the crash.
