Two killed after two-vehicle crash in Rochester

Two children were killed and another one was injured after a two-vehicle crash in Rochester, New York on Wednesday morning.

The crash took place about 9:45 a.m. at Lyell Avenue and Mount Read Boulevard.

All three children were taken from a vehicle being driven by their 30-year-old mother.

An 11-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 4-year-old died right after arrival at the hospital.

An 8-year-old was admitted to the hospital with a critical condition.

The mother had some cuts on her face.

Another vehicle only had an adult driver.

Rochester Police Department said they will not release the identities of the children until Friday morning.
