Two killed after two-vehicle crash in Sedgwick County

Two people were killed after a two-vehicle crash in Sedgwick County, near Wichita, Kansas.

The crash was reported at 2:32 a.m. on Monday at Southwest Boulevard and S. 119th Street West.

It took place when a 2000 Toyota Camry was traveling south on S. 119th Street West and attempting a left turn onto eastbound Southwest Boulevard.

After that, a 2003 Chevrolet Suburban that was westbound on Southwest Boulevard then hit the Camry on the driver’s side.

Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene.

There were no other occupants in both of the vehicles.

The driver of the Camry was identified as David A. Curtis, 54, of Wichita.

The driver of the Suburban was identified as Ryan L. Davis, 45, of Medicine Lodge.

Curtis was wearing a seatbelt but Davis wasn’t.

Kansas Highway Patrol investigated the crash.
