Two killed after a wrong-way car crash in Summit Township

Two people were killed after a car crash in Summit Township, Michigan on Tuesday night.

The crash took place on Page Avenue near Streator Avenue around 9 p.m.

The crash took place when a 56-year-old man from Napoleon Township was driving on the wrong side of the road and struck another car driven by a 55-year-old man from Jackson.

Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene.

The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash.

It is currently unknown if alcohol or drugs were involved in the crash.
