Two killed following car crash on I-285, in DeKalb

Two were killed and another person is in critical condition after their vehicle was rear-ended on early Monday morning on I-285, in DeKalb County, Georgia.

The crash took place when the victim’s car was struck from behind around 3:45 a.m.

There were three individuals in that car, including the female driver and a male and female passenger.

The female driver and passenger in their 50s were pronounced dead at the scene.

The other passenger was admitted to the hospital in critical condition.

The driver of the other vehicle was admitted to the hospital as well.

Their identities were not released.

The westbound lanes of the interstate at Bouldercrest Road were closed due to the crash. They were later reopened.
