Two killed, four injured after car crash in Palos Car Park

Two people were killed and four others were injured after a two-vehicle crash on Sunday afternoon in unincorporated Palos Park, Illinois.

The crash was reported at about 4:12 p.m. in the area of LaGrange Road and 119th Street.

It took place when a Buick was trying to make a left turn onto northbound LaGrange Road and it was hit by a Dodge pickup traveling southbound. A 56-year-old man riding in the Buick was pronounced dead at the scene.

A second individual, a 54-year-old woman, succumbed to her injuries at the hospital.

Two other individuals in the Buick, and two other people in the Dodge, were admitted to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash is under investigation by Cook County Sheriff’s Office.
