Two people were killed and one person critically injured when their car crashed while it was fleeing from cops in tony Glen Ridge, New Jersey on Tuesday.

The crash at Bloomfield and Ridgewood avenues took place after cops received a report of an armed robbery from neighboring Montclair.

Police were chasing a silver Hyundai Sonata with Pennsylvania plates that was thought of being involved in the robbery, and the fleeing car ended up careening off the road and striking a tree in a wooded area at the intersection around 5 a.m.

Two people were pronounced dead at the scene.

Their identities were not released.

Another person in the car was admitted to the hospital.
