Two killed, three injured after eight-car crash in St. Louis

Two people were killed and three others were injured on Thursday after a multi-car crash in Dutchtown in south St. Louis.

The crash took place near the intersection of South Grand Boulevard and Taft Avenue.

Eight vehicles were involved in the crash.

The crash happened when a black Jeep crashed with the other seven cars and been flipped on its side. There were six passengers in the Jeep.

Three were admitted to a local hospital for medical treatment.

Two people were pronounced dead at the scene.

One man fled the scene.

The crash is under investigation by St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department.
