Last week we showed you how the 670 hp Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 SV is built. That’s all thanks to a National Geographic’s new show “Ultimate Factories”.
Tomorrow evening a new episode will air where Ultimate Factories shows us how the Rolls-Royce Phantom is assembled.
Each Phantom is a unique combination of state-of-the-art technology and old-world craftsmanship, constructed with meticulous attention to detail. Manufacturing begins in Unterhallerau, Germany, where its space frame chassis is built. Then it is sent to BMWs factory in Dingolfing, Germany for corrosion-resistance treatment and primer paint.
Next it is shipped to a manufacturing facility constructed by BMW specifically to build the new generation of Rolls-Royce motorcars.
Each Phantom takes an average of 450 hours to assemble and pricing starts at $380,000. Option list is limited only by buyers imagination and bankroll.
