2 dead, 3 injured after car crash on Detroit’s east side

Two people are dead, and three others were injured after a car crash on Detroit‘s east side.

The crash took place on Sunday at 12:30 a.m. in the area of Conner and Mack when a black Dodge Caliber left the driveway of a restaurant and failed to yield and it hit a Jeep. 

The driver of the jeep was not injured.

The male driver of the Dodge Caliber was critically injured.

Police say two female passengers inside the Dodge Caliber were killed.

Two other adult passengers were going through the serious condition.

The crash is under investigation by Detroit police.
