2 killed and 1 injured after car crash on Cleveland

A car crash on Cleveland’s East Side resulted in the deaths of two people and injured one person.

The crash took place around 2:30 a.m. Saturday near E. 33rd Street and Superior Avenue in Asiatown.

The victims have been identified as 55-year-old Walter Spates, of Twinsburg, and 34-year-old Benny Lee McNair, of Cleveland.

They were pronounced dead at the scene.

A 22-year-old woman was admitted to the hospital with critical condition.

It is yet to be known that what caused the crash.
