2011 Ferrari 599 GTB Project Megalith By SR Auto Group Unveiled: Official Specs and Photos

by Mike David

If you’re a SpeedLux reader, “SR Auto Group” might sound familiar to you. The Canadian tuner is no stranger to redefining sports cars from a number of high end automakers one of their creations being the controversial Lamborghini Project SV Veneto, a car painted in a truly unique color (for more details, click here). Their latest creation, called Project Megalith, is a tuning package based on a Ferrari 599 GTB, a car that has been redesigned to become a extrinsic piece of art.

The original dark shade found on the Italian sports car was replaced with a matte white frosted hue with two contrasting black stripes running cleanly through the center of the hood and upward towards a blacked out roof. Continuing with the black/white theme, the Novitec NF3 wheels were selected with a matte black face and polished lip.

The tuner did not provide details about any engine upgrades, so we can suppose that the supercar is still thundering out 611 HP at 7600 rpm and 448 lb-ft at 5600 rpm out of its 5,999cc V12 engine. Still, freeing Project Megalith from any restrictions, the tuner fitted this car with a RSC exhaust system. Spanning across all the spectrum’s of sound waves, the tone is unmistakable.
