It was only recently that Mercedes had released the face lifted version of the 2012 C-Class sedan. This one made quite a bit of interest rating due to its exterior as well as interior designs which, it must be said is a much improved one. The front fascia has been fitted with new headlights and new front grille as well. There is evidence that the design has been inspired by a new taste from the German manufacturer.
After this disclosure or revelation, Mercedes Benz fans are naturally waiting for a face lifted version of the C63 AMG which is supposed to be the most powerful version of the C-Class. The C63 AMG model is fitted with a 6.3 liter V8 engine that delivers 457 hp. There is expectation that the face lifted version would have a more powerful engine fit and maybe the 5.5 liter bi-turbo V8 engine. The total power output then of the car would be 500 hp.
There is interesting news more in the fact that Mercedes is going to unveil their new C-Class Coupe in the March of 2011. This would be done at the Geneva Motor Show event and the news comes from Autovisie. The show would also have in its parade the AMG version of the C-Class Coupe which is powered by a 5.5 liter bi-turbo engine that is capable of delivering 500 hp plus.
Dr. Joachim Schmidt, the Sales & Marketing Director at Mercedes-Benz Cars has this to say of the C-Class car: “In terms of drive and protection systems the new-generation C-Class offers the same comfort and safety as our luxury models. And with numerous high-grade features in the interior that remind one of the new CLS, the C-Class sets completely new standards in its segment with respect to perceived value and quality.”
