Volkswagen is in the final rounds of giving the finishing touches to the facelifted Polo as some of the spy photographers managed to get the glimpse of the model completely undisguised.
Set to debut later this year, the facelifted model has been equipped with features that include a sportier front bumper and a revised grille. Talking about the interiors, the changes inside the cabin are limited but noticeable features that can be seen include a new steering wheel, an updated infotainment system and revised switchgear. There’s also revised trim and a sport button that suggests the model is equipped with adjustable dampers.
There is no confirmation about what would power the model but according to some of the reports, engine options will likely include the usual suspects but some of the reports have even indicated that there could be a new 1.0-liter TSI that has would be able to generate outputs ranging from 60 HP (44 kW) to 90 HP (66 kW).
The facelifted Polo is expected to be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show to be held in March and so we can expect to learn more about the model in coming time.
