Two men were killed and a woman was injured after a car crash on Monday morning in south Wichita.

Those who died have been identified as a 21-year-old named Amill Williams and a 20-year-old named Alonzo Montgomery, both from Wichita.

It was about 1:30 a.m. when officials got the calls about possible shots fired between Harry and Lincoln along George Washington Boulevard.

When officers checked the area, they discovered a tan Ford Fusion crashed at Lincoln and George Washington Boulevard.

The three people in the Ford Fusion had been followed by a yet-to-be-identified vehicle when the occupants of that vehicle started to fire shots at the car carrying the woman, Williams, and Montgomery.

None of the victims were hit by the bullet.

Wichita Police Department is investigating the crash.
