Some unique old school style is being brought back, by JAPO Motorsport GmbH, by releasing their Skyline R34 GT-R JAPO edition. JAPO spent three and a half months on a 1999 R34 on stripping it down to its base “Z-Tune” model.

The 20th Anniversary model, the Skyline R34 GT-R “Z-tune”, was brought out in a limited number of 20 vehicles. This was a special edition created for NISMO, abbreviated for NISsan MOtorsports International, in 2004.

A limited number of (20 cars) the R34 GT-R JAPO edition are planned to be offered with some of the exciting modifications. The R34 GT-R has some of the under the hood alternations. An HKS treatment is applied to the standard 2.5 liter RB26DETT straight 6 cylinder bi-turbo engine.

The HKS treatment includes two GT RS turbo chargers, elbows, half pipe, an intercooler, injectors, ignition plugs, racing suction and chamber kit, and cylinder head gaskets. The JAPO Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R is released with Stoptech 355/35 millimeter discs brakes along with four-piston callipers in front. On the rear the sports sedan has 355/32 millimeter discs and two-piston callipers. The R34 GT-R’s engine, an ARC-4 inch titanium exhaust system, delivers over 516 HP of power and 597 Nm of torque levels.
