German automaker Audi AG stated on Wednesday that it will suspend production at its plant in Mexico’s Puebla state. The suspension will be in force from March 23 through April 13 as the coronavirus hits worldwide supply chains.

Audi stated it is lacking parts at its plant in Mexico, where it produces the Audi Q5, due to the impact on supply chains.

About 164 people in Mexico have been confirmed as being infected with the coronavirus. The virus has killed 1 person in the country.
