BMW X5 Flash Evo M from Hamann

by Alex

BMW X5 with its 555 hp engine was quite mesmerizing enough for all car lovers. Yet Hamann decided to do something more with the car and produced the Flash Evo M. The model by Hamann is designed with an aggressive body kit, can deliver up to an unbelievable 670 HP, flanked by 22 or 23-inch alloy wheels, revoked suspension bits and stronger brakes. Various upgrades in the interiors of the car are also available.

Hamann has rejuvenated the design of the car with a brand new spoiler in the front, provided with options of two or four strips of LED lights, a bonnet clad in carbon fiber, lowered sills on either side to connect the large extensions of the fender, along with additional cooling vents for the mammoth engine.

The standard exhaust was eliminated from the original model and was replaced by two tailpipes; each mounted centrally being integrated with the diffuser. A rear spoiler and a roof spoiler, both manufactured out of carbon fiber included the other exterior modifications. The roof spoiler makes the car stable while running at top speeds, other than giving it a dashing look.

The model has two options in the department of wheels, a 22 inch alloy wheel and a set of 23 inch alloy wheels. The designers at Hamann have suggested the larger set for better performance and a sporty look.

The power upgrades in the car offer a pair of major changes. The top speed barrier of 250 km/h (155 mph) is removed and the power is increased to 610hp and an increased torque of 780 Nm (575 lb-ft).

As an old saying goes the more you get the better it is. Hamann provides a sports muffler, catalysts and the ECU tweak alongside the HM 670 toolbox. The car gives a top power of 670 hp along with a maximum torque of 950 Nm consistent at speeds of 1,500 to 5,650 rpm. The car, according to developers is capable of reaching the 300 km/h (or 186 mph) mark.

The sports suspension kit, provided with the Evo M, lowers the ride height by a 30 mm. The brakes have taken a larger shape in the Evo M model, with 405 mm front discs with 6 pot calipers and 340 mm rear discs with 4 pot calipers, which enhance the performance by a large scale.

The car comes with a brand new speedometer reading a maximum of 320 km/h and a sporty steering. Other options available with the car include special seats clad in leather, aluminum pedals and panels made from carbon fiber. Sill plates made out of stainless steel with illuminated logos of Hamann sums up the product and brighten up the dominance of Evo M in the near future.
