Cayman frenzy! Check out the Cayman 958 by Hamann

by Adrian Hayden

Another tunning house has developed a tuning package for the Cayman 958. Hamann gave the Cayenne II a lot of upgrades among which: a new body kit with a new front apron with LED day-timers, a carbon-fiber bonnet with extra air intakes, side sills, a rear apron, rear diffuser and a quad sport exhaust. Also the German tuner gave this car a new set of wheels made especially for this Cayman: light-alloy 11 x 23-inch wheels covered in 315/25 R 23 tires. Buyers can choose from three models: the Edition Race “Anodized”, Unique Forged “Anodized” and the Unique Forged “Brushed”. Hamann also tuned the engine: the V6 diesel gets a performance boost from 240 PS / 176 kW and 550 Nm to 275 PS / 202 kW and 620 Nm of torque. The ride height can be lowered by as much as 35 mm if the Cayenne has air suspension.
