Fiat 500 Marcia Corta – An original project by Camal

by Sebastian Bivin

Since its beginning fiat has suffered all kind of modifications and tunings. This time, designers Alessio Minchella and Alessandro Camorali, two Italians who were met at 2010 while working at Pininfarina have some new ideas for Fiat 500 EsseEsse. First up is a new company called Camal, design and 3D modelling study in Torino and beside this it’s a new project, a retro-sports style on Fiat 500 EsseEsse. Called the 500 Marcia Corta (Italian for short gearing), the aim is to give the Cinquecento a more rally-inspired look.

This new and inovative ideea is a specially designed kit developed by Camal which makes the Fiat 500 EsseEsse even more characterful and stylish. The inspiration for the car came from classic Abarth models and retro rally cars. The aggressive bodykit comprises of new front and rear bumpers, sideskirts, spoiler, and the competition-style quad spotlight pod.

Fiat 500 Marcia Corta still keeps the Fiat 500 EsseEsse’s 160 hp, 1.4 litre turbocharged engine alone, but it has its exhaust upgraded.

Camal is currently seeking partners to help with production and distribution of the 500 Marcia Corta and their plans for the future are bold enough.
