U.S. largest automaker General Motors stated on Thursday that it will suspend operations at its plant located in Mexico’s San Luis Potosi state from March 20 to April 13 because of the coronavirus outbreak.
German automaker Audi AG has also said that they will suspend production at its plant in Mexico’s Puebla state from March 23 through April 13.
About 164 people in Mexico have been confirmed as being infected with the coronavirus. The virus has killed 1 person in the country.
