Honda to reduce production by 10% in two factories

Honda Motor said on Thursday that it will decrease factory production by about 10% in two domestic plants by the end of March, due to the global microchip shortage and geopolitical uncertainty.

The automaker had previously said production would be decreased through early March.

The ongoing chip shortage crisis and the Ukraine-Russia war have caused uncertainty with regard to vehicle production in the automotive world.
