Infiniti G37 Cabriolet covered in 24K gold is a shining piece of automotive art

by Alex

There are those who love to and make all efforts to make their car look out of the ordinary. There was this Infiniti G37 Convertible that had been draped in 24K gold and put up on display at a jewelry store in Nanking in Jiangsu Province. The car therefore had a lot of weight to it which would sure be a great retarder to the Infiniti’s performance features.

However, notwithstanding all the glory and the glitter, the idea behind plating the car with gold or any other such precious metal perhaps makes little sense expect for the big poster that attaches itself to the car automatically which states that the car is up for stealing. There is a lesson to be learnt by such owners of out of the ordinary ideas from the case of the Porsche 996 Turbo that had also been covered with gold and was stolen to be retrieved and stolen once again.
