by SpeedLux

Jeep has recently announced that the one millionth Wrangler (JK) has rolled off the assembly line in Toledo, Ohio. This is certainly a great landmark and achievement for the company.

The millionth model which was a 2013 Wrangler Rubicon 10th Anniversary Edition was driven off the line by Chrysler Group Vice President of Vehicle Assembly Operations Mauro Pino and UAW Local 12 Jeep Unit Chairman 12 Dan Henneman.

Pino said in a statement that every Jeep Wrangler sold to customers around the world was building in Toledo, Ohio. He further said that since the opening of this facility eight years ago, the workforce at Toledo has built every one of those million vehicles with pride, passion and a focus on quality. He said that the company is all ready to building the next million.

As reported previously, the Wrangler Rubicon 10th Anniversary Edition comes with features such as new bumpers, a revised hood, an increased ride height and 17-inch alloy wheels covered with BF Goodrich KM2 tires. The model comes with a 3.6-liter V6 engine that can generate 285 hp (212 kW) and 260 lb-ft (352 Nm) of torque. It also comes with red leather seats and locking differentials in the interiors.
