by SpeedLux

At the Australian Motor Show(AIMS) the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento hypercar car was showcased, the super-light 999kg all-wheel drive Lamborghini Sesto Elemento takes its name – ‘Sixth Element’ – from its extensive use of carbonfibre.

The car uses an extremely strong and lightweight material, and the body houses everything like the monocoque cell, front frame, exterior panels, crash boxes, major suspension components, propeller shaft, and even the wheels, the car’s exhausts are made from Pyrosic, an advanced glass-ceramic matrix composite reinforced with carbonfibre, which means it is even less weighted, while it will be able to stand temperatures up to 900-degrees celsius.

Power to the vehicle comes from a 5.2-litre V10 powerplant mated to a six-speed paddle-shift transmission, bringing an output of 425kW/540Nm, and thus helping it to do a 0-100km/h run in 2.5 Seconds.
