Rolls Royce Apparition Concept is truly bizarre

by Alex

Rolls Royce as a marque needs no introduction. Also, its absolutely needless to say the famed British automobile is certainly a class apart from the rest in the business. So perhaps the last thing that you would expect is a car from Rolls Royce to be synonymous to the toy like BMW X1 or the Bugatti Veyron when they are made straight out of the Lego blocks. The Apparition Concept coming from Rolls Royce though has an amazing similarity with the construction toys and would remind you of your childhood days. Hence we are now in a thought of what Jeremy Westerlund must have visualized while designing the car. Certainly a Rolls Royce car isn’t one in which you would like to fool around.

Little is known about the reason behind why Jeremy has put up with such a design for Rolls Royce. He has stated that the Apparition Concept is based on the glamor of vintage cars due to their chauffeur driven property. This wonderful trend of chauffeur driven cars has been long lost now. Hence he is trying to rejuvenate that vintage effect along with a look such that you feel absolutely private in the interiors of the car taking you on an apparition from the world outside. The car will also have model-milled exterior foam from Alias data. Well this concept is ready to create some buzz in the automobile market.

Fortunately though for automobile world the concept is just a 1:4 scale model. Hence the chances that this amazing vehicle based on the Phantom being turned into reality is very slim. And chances are almost zero. The driver will be the only privileged one on the vehicle and to be able to drive around the car. The model is based too much on driving with a chauffeur. The equipments that the car may provide also face a major drawback because the structure of the car may not allow addition of features like radio, navigation system and simple features like cup holders as well. The car only wants to make a pretty strong and loud statement and what else would you expect the statement to be other than an adamant “Because I can.”
