Tesla Roadster provided a new Sport Green Package by Brabus

by Alex Patrick

To give value added service to its customers Brabus’ Zero Emission division have joined hands with German electricity company RWE and created the Green Package for the Tesla Roadster. There is a host of exterior and interior changes and modification that they have carried out to the base model. There is the feature where the owner can charge the car battery pack right for a normal household supply, as also the feature of being able to make a 30,000 kilometer or 18,641 miles run on one charge with the RWE help. Buyers would also get the facility of free use of the charging points at any of the RWE charging stations.

The difference between the normal household point and the RWE outlets is that these outlet charging points provide for faster recharge. The Telsa Roadster for example would be charged in less than six hours for a 350 km ride or 220 mile ride.

The EV has also been spiced up externally by Brabus, they being a tuning form basically. A carbon fiber lips has been added to the front bumper and they have also installed LED daytime running lights into the front grille. There is a discreet carbon fiber wing and diffuser also attached at the rear of the car.

The wheels are 18 inch front and 19 inch at the rear and of Monoblock S alloy make. They are shod in 215/35 front and 255/30 rear tires. The color applied to the wheel matches the exterior color of the car.

For effects that too in the audible manner Telsa has added a sound generator to the car which emits a grunt that is typical of a V8. This audible gives the sense as if of a race car.

Option of having the interior done up in a combination of perforated leather and Alcantara or having scuff plates with illuminated Brabus logos else a leather-covered floor altogether is also possible.
