Three dead after vehicle crash in British Columbia

A vehicle crash in northern British Columbia on Friday saw the deaths of three people on Saturday.

The crash took place around 9:15 a.m. on Highway 37, near Onion Lake which is located between Terrace and Kitimat.

The initial investigation showed that a passenger vehicle headed northbound toward Terrace crossed the center line and hit a southbound commercial vehicle.

The three people in the passenger vehicle were pronounced dead at the scene.

The road was shut for some hours as Kitimat RCMP and the BC Coroners Service investigating the crash.
