Three dead, four injured after single-car crash in Orange

Three people were killed and four were injured after their vehicle crashed and engulfed in Orange, California on Saturday.

The crash took place when a Nissan Altima traveling south at high speed on North Glassell Street at around 2:45 a.m. and failed to negotiate a curve at North Orange Olive Road before crashing.

All of its seven occupants were ejected.

Three were pronounced dead at the scene.

The other four were hospitalized of which three were in critical condition and one with moderate injuries.

Orange Police Department is investigating the crash. Officials said drugs and alcohol are suspected to be a factor in the crash.
