Three died and two others were injured after a two-car and pedestrian crash in Frayser, Tennessee on Saturday evening.
The crash took place at Alta Vista Avenue and Overton Crossing around 6:00 p.m. when a driver attempted to pass traffic by using the center turn lane and struck two pedestrians and a car.
The second car was in the opposite traffic lane.
The driver, passenger, and one pedestrian died due to the crash.
The second pedestrian and driver of the second car were hospitalized. Their condition is critical.
The crash is currently being investigated.
