Three people died after a pickup truck and a semi-truck crashed along Country Road 74 (Bermont Road) and Eugene Avenue Saturday morning in Charlotte County.
The crash took place at approximately 2:58 a.m. when a pick-up truck was traveling west on Country Road 74.
As the truck started to travel east on Country Road 74, the vehicle crashed in front of a semi-truck. Both vehicles became engulfed in flames.
All occupants of the vehicles were pronounced dead on the scene.
None of the occupants have been identified.
The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) is investigating the crash.
