Three killed, three injured after car crash in Adams County

Three died and three others were injured after a car crash in Adams County, Pennsylvania.

The crash took place around 12:18 p.m. Wednesday when the driver of a 2011 Jeep left the roadway, striking a tree and stopping in a cow pasture.

The driver, identified as 37-year-old, Christopher Heflin of York, and two passengers were pronounced dead at the scene.

Two other victims were identified as April Ditzler, 37, also of York and Vincent Martin, 32, of Gettysburg.

Three other passengers were admitted to Wellspan York Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Pennsylvania State Police investigated the crash.
