Toyota Motor stated on Friday it prepared for all four of its vehicle assembly plants in China to be in operation from this week after weeks of stoppages due to the coronavirus outbreak, although output at some plants would be limited.

The Japanese automaker stated that production at its vehicle assembly plant located in Chengdu, Sichuan province would resume from Monday.

Toyota started partial production at plants in Tianjin Province and other locations last week.

Coronavirus has so far infected thousands and killed over 2,300 people in China.
