The two contestants of the College National Finals Rodeo died in a Kansas vehicle accident on Friday morning.

Both Cinch Bullock and Hadly McCormick — both Oklahoma Panhandle State University students — died in the incident.

A dump truck and a pickup pulling a horse trailer crashed on US-56 west of Santana, Kansas at around 9 a.m. on Friday

Bullock was from Colorado, and McCormick was from Nebraska.

Kansas Highway Patrol says they were both passengers in the pickup.

The drivers of the pickup and dump truck were admitted to the hospital.
