Two dead after car crashes along tow truck in Fort Worth

Two people were killed after a car crash involving a tow truck on I-35W early Monday morning.

Officials visited the crash site around 2:20 a.m. on the entrance ramp to northbound I-35 near U.S. 287. A tow truck was pulling an attached car and a passenger car had struck, and two people were trapped inside the passenger vehicle.

The two people in the car were pronounced dead.

The ramp was shut as of 5 a.m. due to the investigation.

Fort Worth Police Department is investigating the crash.
