Two dead after crash between motorcycle and car in Apache Junction

Two people were killed after a three-wheeled motorcycle was hit by a car in Apache Junction, Arizona on Saturday.

The crash took place when the driver of the car allegedly ran a red light at an intersection before crashing with the motorcycle around 6:30 p.m. and may have been driving impaired.

A man and a woman were pronounced dead at the scene.

Their identities haven’t been released.

The identity of the suspects is also not known.

The driver was admitted to Apache Junction hospital.
