Two dead after car crash on Wyoming Avenue in Kingston

Two people were killed after a fatal crash that resulted in the shutting down of a portion of Wyoming Avenue in Kingston on Monday night.

Officials responded to the incident that took place in the 100 block of Wyoming Avenue just before 8:00 p.m.

The fatal crash involved two vehicles.

A car pulled out of Josie’s Ice Cream and was struck by an oncoming SUV going northbound on Wyoming Avenue.

The driver and the passenger of the car pulling out were pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the SUV was admitted to Geisinger over traumatic injuries.

Route 11 between Northampton Street and Carle Street was resumed after 10 p.m.
