Two dead after one-car crash in Pickens County, South Carolina

Two people died following a single-car crash in Pickens County, South Carolina on Saturday.

The crash took place at approximately 12:01 a.m. on Earls Bridge Road.

The driver and passenger of a 2002 GMC SUV were moving east on Earls Bridge Road when they crossed the center line, traveled off the left side of the roadway before hitting several trees.

The driver and the passenger were not using seatbelts and were entrapped.

Both were pronounced dead at the scene.

South Carolina Highway Patrol investigated the crash.
