Two dead, one injured after car crash in Omaha

Two women were killed and a man was injured following a car crash on Thursday in Omaha, Nebraska.

It was around 11 p.m., when officers responded to the area of 192nd and F St. Investigation showed a Ford F250 pickup traveling eastbound entered the intersection and hit a southbound 2018 Nissan Altima SUV.

Both cars came to a rest on the southeast corner of the intersection after the Nissan became engulfed in fire.

Omaha Fire took the driver of the Ford, a 21-year-old identified as Zachary Paulison, to Bergan Mercy Hospital with critical injuries.

Two adult women who were inside Nissan were pronounced dead at the scene.

Their identities were not released.

Omaha Police Department is investigating the crash.

It is yet to be known what caused the crash.
