Two killed after car crash on Fork Creed Road

Two people were killed after a car crash on Fork Creed Road in Philadelphia.

A 40-year-old identified as Brandon Smith, of Sweetwater, was driving a 2002 Ford Explorer on Fork Creed Road when he came around a curve, before driving off the right side of the roadway.

After that, he jerked his wheel to the left to get back on the road, but he struck a 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe, driven by a 69-year-old identified as Bobby Oody, of Philadelphia.

Both Smith and Oody died in the crash.

Tennessee Highway Patrol investigated the crash.
